Ava Mae is a beautiful girl and she is both AKC and UKC Registered. Ava Mae has had two beautiful litters of pups and she has been a wonderful mama. I am retiring Ava Mae from our breeding program. 

Ava came to me as a three month old pup and has been a delightful part of our pack for several years now. She is funny and friendly and just always in a good mood. She knows basic obedience and will do anything for a treat. She is just a fun loving girl and gets along with everyone.

Ava has grown up here on our ranch which is somewhat remote so she will need some time to acclimate to a life with more neighbors if she moves into town. She gets along well with our other dogs but would need supervision as she meets other dogs simply because she has not had the opportunity to socialize with other dogs while she was in our breeding program. She is able to jump fences that are less than 6 feet tall so a secure yard is important. With time and training I believe she will be happy to adjust to a life where she is exposed to more people and animals.

Ava would do well as an only dog, or with other dogs after she has time to get to know them. She has been raised with my grandchildren, she is just good natured and happy. She would need to be conditioned to accept cats if there are cats in the household. Our cats roam outside the dog yard and she does chase them when they get too close. 

Ava is very food driven so additional time spent in training will produce quick results. She needs to be reminded how to take food gently from your hand, so this is something to watch out for if you like your fingers. I am looking for a home that is active and would be interested in working with Ava to enjoy adventures such as water sports, or hiking, or other activities. She is very smart and athletic and an active lifestyle will be fulfilling for her.

Ava Mae had her spay on August 30, 2025. She is about 100 pounds, current on all vaccinations, and in excellent health.
